Grandma's Pot Roast


My Grandma's French Onion Pot Roast - SO easy and SO good!

1 Chuck Roast
2 cans of French Onion Soup
5 medium sized red potatoes
3 carrots, chopped, or a handful of baby carrots
4 celery stalks
1/2 sweet onion chopped in large chunks
Salt and pepper

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
Place your chuck roast in a large roasting pan so there is about 1 1/2 inches of space on any side of it
Add your vegetables and season the entire dish with salt and pepper
Pour the cans of soup over the meat
Cover with tin foil and let roast for 3 1/2 hours

Serve! SO yummy!
